Last weekend Huxley took a trip to Berlin - possibly the coolest city in Europe right now. And whilst there, other than soaking up a hell of a lot of culture, schnitzel and Berliner beer, we stumbled across some great brands that we had never heard of before.

One is a drinks company called Bioande. It sells itself as "The unique non-alcoholic refreshment drink. Produced from natural raw materials of organic quality through fermentation in a purely organic way. Bionade refreshes in a special way. Delicately tart and fruity, with the special note of a fermented drink. Whether as Elderberry, Lychee, Herbs or Ginger-Orange." They aren't lying! I don't know if you can get Bionade in the UK yet. But if we can't then that should change. It is glorious.

The second brand we stumbled across was Freitag. This is a company that makes bags, from old truck tarpaulins and seat belts. And they are amazing. They are sustainable as they are recycled, they are durable as they are made from hard wearing tarpaulin, and they are unique and made by hand in Switzerland. We were sold, and you can see above some of our purchases being test driven at the airport!

As you can see, above are some photos from the trip. It is always nice to see Huxley jumpers being sported worldwide (from L to R - ripe tomato, raspberry beret, cobalt blue)! I can't recommend highly enough getting out to Berlin as there is so much art, architecture, culture, commerce and fun to be experienced and explored.
