Here at Huxley two things used to puzzle us. Where has all the vibrant coloured knitwear gone? And why are we all so quick to eschew British manufacturing? In order to address both these issues Huxley has set out to produce high-quality, brightly coloured, British-made knitwear.

The provenance of our factories is of the utmost importance to us at Huxley. Our jumpers are produced in Scotland by a fantastic knitwear manufacturer, which can trace its heritage in Scottish knitwear back to 1874. For our socks, we rely on a family owned firm that has been in the business of socks since 1895 and is run by the 3rd and 4th generation descendants of the founder.

As you will see we sell two styles of jumper, a v-neck and a crew neck, and socks, and we sell it all in eight of the brightest and best colours in the world. Our jumpers are made from 100% merino wool (which is a great wool, lightweight yet warm, soft yet resilient) making them perfect for year-round wear, be it worn with layers in the winter or over a t-shirt or on its own in the summer. Our socks are made from luxurious cotton and are a mid-calf length. Wear them for any occasion to add colourful character to your stride.
